Dimitris Kyriakidis is a graduate from the Music Department of Salford University (Manchester UK), with a degree in Band Musicianship. In 2004, he has completed a Master of Music in Composition at Leeds University, teaches (mainly electric) guitar and theory privately, for Yamaha and for the Doncaster Music Service. Dimitris Kyriakidis and Rob Lindop have formed "Flaming Rose" in October 2002. After a 2 year 'break' Dimitris is looking for new members to get Flaming Rose on stage again. Flaming Rose initially consisted of Mat Bateman (Vocals), Andy Brown (Bass), Jonathan Kitching (Drums), Rob Lindop (Keyboards & Vocals) and Dimitris Kyriakidis (El. Guitar). Their repertory consisted of songs as well as instrumental pieces with influences from Classical, Jazz-Fusion, Rock and Heavy Metal music. October '06 The band Nitefire is about to get out gigging. Keep checking back for more information and gig dates. Nitefire is a a covers band covering music from Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, The Police, Evanescence, Morisette, Europe, Greenday just to name a few. October '06 Dimitris starts teaching for YAMAHA's Guitar Encounters in Doncaster.

02/07/05 'The Deviator' was broadcasted online for the first time from Prog'opolis. The show features classic and contemporary progressive rock. Special thanks to Vince & Daisy Font for their support and their very good comments.
